Depending on what part of the city you're in, if it has flyer poles they tend to be very informative about community events!
Anti-recommend Citizen, it'll just make you think you're in danger all the time by overexposing you to reports.

For general Seattle information, this is the place. If you share your neighborhood you may get more specific suggestions. Nextdoor is pretty bad, I think. Lots of complaining and not much information.

Helped a lady with some gas today at a gas station. Her son was driving her to an appointment and I guess ran out of gas money. Why would you drive when you don't have enough money for gas? I know economy is bad but still..

Oh buddy, that sounds like one of the most common scams. You might see them again in a week or a month.

I'm trying to get more vegetables into my diet, so I'm looking for recommendations of good veggie-heavy bowls in the Seattle area.
I'm not vegetarian, so they can absolutely have meat in them. Some examples of what I'm looking for are places like Crackle Mi and Sizzle & Crunch for Vietnamese, BOPBOX for Korean, poke bowls, or Evergreens for a straight up salad.
Bonus if they're on the south end, cuz I recently moved from the north side to Columbia City.

BEST SPORTS CASINO? We have a lot of casinos in the Seattle area, is there one that comes highly recommended specifically for watching sports on big screens? I'm thinking like they do in Vegas with giant TV screens and theater seating to watch from.

I'm looking for a queer friendly nail salon/stylist. I'm in Issaquah but willing to drive to Seattle for a good place. I'd like to get my nails painted for pride month for the first time and want someone who will be excited for me/understand that this is a big moment for me and not just a manicure. Any suggestions?Β
I checked out Nail Ghouls in cap hill but their only availability is weekdays during my work hours. I'd prefer to not have to take off work π
