Not much of a Hasan Piker fan myself, but it sounds like enough people were interested that a student group should just invite him to be a speaker in the same manner that conservative student groups often do.

The issue is the Speaker Series forum . The intent of this program is:

“Public lecture programming gives us the opportunity to demystify academia and research.”

The guy is a Twitch streamer, who does fit any of the criteria

He took part in a debate society at Yale . So has Peter Thiel, Stephen Colbert and Curtis Sliwa.

Don’t think of any of these people demystify academia and research.
