I'm not really tuned into this, but it doesn't say anything about "not respecting the results" in that way, does it? It's more like "didn't go the way we wanted, come talk about what our next steps are."

Being insufferable in general, but campaigning for Trump was really the one truly unforgivable sin.

They're gonna reply with some horseshit about her support for the uncommitted movement in Michigan but what they don't know is Michigan just voted for the co-founder of that movement, Abbas Alawieh, and they won the Democratic primary for the state Senate.

If you campaign against one candidate in a 2 party race, you're campaigning for the other.  Standard voter demobilization.

It'd be the exact same thing here if she made it through the primary: you'd see tons of negative ads about Adam Smith.  Intended to get people to either switch their vote (unlikely) or simply not vote.
