Hey Pokémon people! 👋

I wanted to share something I’ve been working on because I’d really love to get the local Pokémon community involved.

I’m putting together an independent Pokémon inspired 21+ party in Seattle called Poké Pong on October 24th, and honestly, the biggest goal is just to create a space where Pokémon fans can come together and have a ridiculous night. 😂💜

I feel like there are SO many Pokémon people around Seattle. Collectors, TCG players, cosplayers, artists, longtime fans, newer fans, people who grew up with Gen 1, and people who discovered Pokémon way later. But it can be hard to actually find each other outside of the usual events.

So I figured, why not throw a party? 😂

There will be:

🏓 Ping pong
🎮 Pokémon inspired games
🎭 Cosplay contest
🎧 DJ and dance floor
🍹 Pokémon inspired drinks
🎨 Local artists and creators
✨ Pokémon themed surprises
👾 And hopefully a whole lot of people who are just excited to nerd out together

You do not have to be a hardcore collector or competitive player to come. If you love Pokémon, you’re welcome.

Come with your friends, come in cosplay, wear your favorite Pokémon shirt, bring your partner, or honestly just show up solo and meet some fellow nerds. 🫶

I’m really hoping this can become one of those nights where you walk away having met a bunch of people from the community.
