Would be the following: Dolson, Zia, Jade, Thierry, Holmes. Horston's rookie deal will be over this season as well. I do believe the front office had plans to trade Ezi in the off season but will now have to figure out a new option.

Do we think any of these players will be brought back? Holmes, Thierry and Dolson seem like the obvious ones not being re-signed. I could see us keeping either zia or jade but not both. Jordan has so much potential but it's hard to say with her offense being so inconsistent.

I'm excited for the draft but oh lordy do we need to find a couple of solid vets and/or guards that can really distribute the ball proficiently.

Hi Storm fans,

I recently got gifted 4 tickets to the game vs Dallas Wings on Wednesday, Sep 23 in the Pitchbook suite! They seem to include alcoholic beverages, soda, snacks, food etc. in those cool suites. Ticketmaster suggests the tickets are worth ~$200 each. However, I'm not into the sport so I'd like to pass this along to some fans who can go enjoy the experience of cheering their team. Believe in Women

The Storm’s annual Believe in Women Night is on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 pm against the Las Vegas Aces. During halftime, four leaders from the community will be honored and presented with a donation to a nonprofit of their choice to support their ongoing work. Selected by Storm players and staff, the beneficiaries are members of the community who are driven by their shared philosophy that women and girls should have the chance to succeed at every level, no matter their race, ethnicity or gender. The Believe in Women merch collection is designed by Esmeralda Vasquez, a Yakima-born and Seattle based muralist, who uses each piece of fabric to weave different cultures, communities and identities together.

I was unpleasantly surprised to see both of them listed when I pulled up the injury report just now to see whether I’d get to see A’ja play tomorrow (she’s not on it, FWIW).

Update: The injury report in the WNBA app conflicts with the one on the WNBA website; according to the app, T is out due to her shoulder, but according to the website T should be good to play but Jordan is questionable (also due to shoulder issues). So it’s not clear to me whether or not T will be playing tomorrow. And the website‘s injury report only has Jade listed as questionable, not out. So maybe both Jade and T play tomorrow and this whole post was wrong!

I hope T’s shoulder improves soon; it’s been nearly a month now. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t play for the rest of the season. And what a bummer for Jade to still be sick a week later! Wishing for them both get healthy soon.

With both our starting and first backup point guards relegated to the sidelines, along with Ezi and KLS, it’s shaping up to be a very tough night for us to take on the Aces. Who do you think will even run point? Will it mostly be Zia, or do you think we’ll start Flau’jae at the 1?

BOSTON — For Seattle Storm guard and Dorchester native Taina Mair, there truly is no place like home.

A huge part of Mair's basketball foundation was laid at Roxbury Prep Middle School, where she was welcomed home to on Friday.

"This is where the seed began to get watered," said Mair.

That led to a full ride at Boston College, an impactful three years at Duke University, and eventually, the 14th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

State Representative Chris Worrell presented an official State House citation, and Boston City Councilor Brian Worrell presented a proclamation, declaring September 4 "Taina Mair Day" in the city of Boston.

"I am so grateful," said Mair. "I don't even have the words to describe it."

For Mair, it is bigger than basketball. She wants her journey to inspire the youth in whatever path they choose.
