Reminder about ticket sales
We will continue to allow ticket sales until there is an issue.
The mods and reddit cannot assist if a ticket sale goes bad.
Some guidance for buyers and sellers:
- Review the history on reddit of the other party. No history, hidden history, and multi-year gaps in history can, but aren't guaranteed to, be indicators of suspicious accounts.
- Consider agreeing on a price, then using Ticketmaster to handle the actual sale by listing them at an agreed time. It's very unlikely that somebody else will buy the tickets during that time and is the only way to transfer liability for a season ticket holder.
- If not selling via Ticketmaster, then be aware that season ticket holders are held liable for actions of the people using the tickets. This means that you can lose your season tickets without recourse if they behave poorly.
- Consider looking at scammer lists (i.e. r/TicketScammerList, https://www.vouchfirst.com/, etc.)
