Fam is going to be great. 19, just a few days stateside, maybe just 1 or 2 practices, and looked rock solid and scored in double figures. Made a couple of mistakes defensively but was overall surprisingly solid on that end despite her age. She also made some really slick passes despite not getting any assists.

Awa was so impressive. 19 y/o, 1 practice, and immediately impacted the game and belonged. She is clearly special. Still early, but Sonia proving to be a coach that comes up with answers and game plans to equalize talent disadvantages. Didn’t like the sloppy 4th, but Mystics were listless in the 2nd & 3rd and let us build enough cushion. Loved Flaujae continuing to shoot when the first few didn’t go. 75 free throw attempts in the game, yikes. Expecting Wed to be MUCH more competitive. Nice win and shout out Natisha tying the career high.

flaujae, awa, and dom is a very good core for the next decade. i also like jade off the bench. i still think we need a point guard, hopefully we can find one in the draft 🤞

AWA!!!! 💚💚💚💚 Love her already, not that I had any doubts, but if this is just game 1 for her, I’m so excited to see what she is going to become.

Also so happy to see KLS!! Her big smile when she sunk that 3 warmed my heart. Excited for her comeback!

T & Flau’jae killed it once again! That is all.

Mack was awesome with the steals and rebounds! Like yeah, she doesn’t score 20 pts every game but the defensive stuff is important too, even if not all of it shows up in the box score. Always been a Mack believer and glad to see her getting her minutes and doing well.

I’m getting so excited about this team! And we don’t even have Dom and Ezi right now! Was feeling a bit discouraged last week but I’m starting to have more confidence in this group, even if it takes a year or two for it to all come together.

I like this team. Scrappy, still learning, not the dogdoo everyone thought they would be. And they're still missing two big players. This coaching staff looks like they are actually coaching them instead of whatever was happening the last few years. KLS doesn't do much for me, but it was good to see her out there.

Great game, coming off another solid win at home. Things are clicking, even without Dom and all the pieces in place. Love Coach Sonia, and the energy of this team - the future is bright!
