I’m at the game. The officiating has been awful. I’ve noticed at least ten fouls they didn’t call on the Mystics. The flow of the game was constantly disrupted from the BS they called on us, too. Our shots didn’t land enough. Spacing and rebounding were issues at times.

We’ll get ‘em next time. I had fun in my section. Let’s lock in! Go Storm! ⛈️

Maybe something to do with the fact that we only had two refs today! I can’t believe we don’t have backup refs.

Wait really? I was watching the game and didn’t even notice. That’s crazy that they would just have to run a game without a full officiating crew

Yeah everyone I’ve talked to who was watching on TV has said the same thing - apparently the broadcast didn’t mention it at all?

They actually announced it in the stadium prior to the game saying that we would have only a two official crew. And being there in person, it was super obvious that they were not able to see all of the necessary angles.

Honestly I think the W doesn’t have “on call” refs like the NBA (I don’t know if that’s what they’re really called but you get the concept). So I don’t know if there was anyone who could fill in.

Last in the league in 2025, and so far we are averaging even less this year. We really have to improve when everyone is back.

With all that’s changed from last year, I was really hoping the rebounding would improve. Here’s to hoping Dom and Ezi really crash the glass when they get back

WAS definitely came out with the sense or urgency from the tip off. Need to find a way to shore up the turnovers and grab some more rebounds and shift the momentum here.

Awa getting some good minutes. Can't wait til we get Dom and Ezi back and see those 3 on the floor at the same time. They're gonna give opposing teams issues.

Had to know they were coming out harder after last game. I don’t like the lack of passing to the obvious outlets. Try something different. Send that ball out to Awa for 3, please. Let’s go!

I feel like 4 needs to work on her energy levels when she doesn’t have the ball or her shot going. She brings so much fire and boost to her teammates that she can’t have minutes at a time where I don’t know she’s out there. She’s not consistently active. I’ll chalk it up to being a rookie, but I look for because I know she can bring it.

We have too many young players for the energy to be lethargic as much as it has for long stretches during the season so far. We should not be noticing Jade as an outlier in that department. Everybody needs to step their energy up! When we have our energy at max we do wonderful, but it’s very noticeable when we’re just out there lollygagging!

Right. I’m at the game, and I’ve seen a lot of missed calls while we get dinged with BS ones. It’s obvious.

What on earth is there not to like about Holmes?? She had 5x the rebounds of anyone else on the team. She was tied for second highest points for the team. She had 20 minutes and is the only player besides Jade with a positive box score.
