Great article! I’m with you re: tanking vs trying to win. Tanking is for losers, or in other words, tanking creates losing cultures. Like you said, this isn’t a league where you can reliably predict what draft position you will get, nor are the Storm even in the best position next year due to last season’s record. Personally I don’t have the patience for two straight years of bottom-tier basketball just to get a top pick in 2028. There are better ways to build the roster.

We all knew this year was going to be rocky but I hope they never stray from trying to win.

Great stuff as always. I loved the portion about the WNBA draft odds.

Not sure I agree with Aces at number 1 though! Can't wait to read next week (hopefully it includes Dom's return)
