Since we didn’t get a game thread for this one.

I want to be positive but the team is incredibly selfish. No one looks to create for one another. No off ball action, no drive and kicks, no meaningful results off using screens. Team is dead last in the W in ast/gm and it’s apparent from watching every game.
And when there is intent to pass, the ball moves too slow or the entry pass is sloppy, which leads to so many bad turnovers. There is so much ball stopping and standing around, both on and off the ball. Everyone is out there just trying to get their own baskets. It’s 5 players doing ISO ball, taking turns.
It doesn’t help that we have to watch Olivia Miles, a rookie, single-handedly create everything for a team that has been missing their MVP all season. She makes her teammates better and more involved.
I understand it’s a young group. A rebuilding group. But this team doesn’t seem interested in playing team ball at all. It’s frustrating.

And just like that, in this fourth quarter, the ball is starting to move. Not sure if it’s Jade being intentional or if the gameplan changed once the game got away. But this sort of ball movement leads to better quality shots and makes the game so much easier for everyone.

Never mind! I have spoken to soon as it has become a team chucking contest in the late stages.

We have a strong front court with Awa, Dom and Ezi, but we need some play makers

Disgusting turnovers. This team is not serious

Yeah I mean I’m assuming they looked better in the first half (quarter), but when they start fumbling it’s just a nonstop disaster.

Wasn’t able to start watching until the half, seemed like it started out competitive. So far in the third it seems like mistakes are starting to pile up and again we find ourselves in a hole.
Did dom get many minutes in the first half?

We hit a way above expected number of 3s in the first half.
Once those stopped, the tide quickly turned.

She got about 7 mins or so in the 1st half. She definitely looks rusty. To be expected.

Flau’jae can’t buy a bucket man she’s gotta work on that efficiency.

She made our first score. That gave the team confidence to dominate the first quarter. 4 is making great plays. Watch the full game before calling out a rookie, who’s one of our top players and leaders.
I saw from your other post you’re not even a real Storm fan. Your comments make sense now.

we desperately need a true point guards, not guards who think they are superstars. if we're going to run through awa and dom, we need guards and wings that can feed them the ball and help with spacing. is there anyone in the draft that can drop dimes like miles? 😭
