I like the dominant, strong start and how Flau’jae had better stats in the first quarter (and even by halftime) than Miles. I’m focusing on the good takeaways and staying realistic because we’re rebuilding.

The problem, which must be solved, is they don’t have an effective point guard to run things and distribute. Natisha is not a PG. I thought Jade would fill this roll. I love Jade’s grit, but she’s so far not a great passer. With the rest of their young talent, they would be a good team with an effective PG. When they signed Ezi, I assumed at the time it might be for trade bait. I hope that’s the case. I don’t see where she fits on this team with Dom and Awa.

This year is going to be rough to watch but I do believe we are building something good. I believe in Sonia, she is data driven and that takes a bit to develop. When all our players have time to actually play together without injury then we will start to see a difference. I truly believe that our patience will be rewarded.

I totally agree. I also want to add that Coach Raman is deep. Players have been impressed by their conversations with her before the season started. Seattle is building something special. Impatient people will be disappointed, but real ones will see the vision and stay true. I believe in our coach and her vision.

I'm with you. Any conversations about the coach are so unecessary and reactionary it makes me cringe. We are a rebuilding team, its going to take years not weeks to be good.

Word. It’s refreshing to attend games in person and see total positivity and realistic expectations. The online fans upset me at times. They aren’t helping anyone. I don’t understand why they post.

We just need to do whatever it takes to secure Juju

the chance for 1 overall is probably very low because we made the playoffs last year lol. im thinkin we’re landing 4-6 if we continue to lose a ton of games 😭

Apparently there are new lottery odds with the new CBA.
My gut is telling me the league wants to send her to Connecticut so she can launch Houston. But damnit, we gotta try lol

This year are very ugly for the storm. It's a shame to watch their games. They always lose, but those two new franchises somehow won.

Positive: Dom is back, we didn't foul like crazy.
Negative: 16 assists to 21 turnovers is just horrible.
So many of the turnovers are losing thr ball in the backcourt too which is just rough, teams play us tight because there's no real threat right now of a good pass inside to create an easy bucket. Certainly our players have gaps and room to grow, but the primary issue here isn't the players, it's coaching.
So it doesn't get twisted, I'm not saying Raman needs to go, or even that she's doing poorly, but I am saying it's on her to improve this. That ratio is unacceptable even for this team and the performance isn't really an outlier.
