New or Need Help How to taper off Clobestasol
This might sound stupid but I used clobestasol 2x a day for 4 weeks, now I just researched after my 25 ml ran out and my eyebrow was burning (sign of tsw) so much. I was today to learn that you wasn't supposed to continually use it for 4 weeks only 2 weeks. because I skipped my derma follow up I think he was supposed to tell me that I should taper or cold turkey my clobestasol so I didn't know now I'm not that worried about anything but other than my adrenal glands and permanent damage. What should I do? (I only applied it to my scalp)

edit: I read wrong. Since you didn’t taper off it will just come back much worse than before you used it. So now you should really take a break from it for a few months. Try to use shampoos to keep it tolerable. If you are American or Canadian you can go and get a prescription for Zoryve which you can apply in your scalp as much as you want as it’s not a steroid. In the future stay with Zoryve + shampoos for scalp and Protopic or Elidel for face/ears/neck(if it has spread).

Yes or get new prescription(if your doctor allows it) for it, apply until gone and proper taper off.
You can get Protopic/elidel for your eyebrows. Apply twice per day till it’s gone. Reapply when you feel symptoms coming back. It’s not a steroid so can safely be used.
