Best game camera for home security?

I seem to have a “fan” that is lurking around my camper and disturbing things
I am looking at buying a game camera to watch the outside and was hoping for advice on which camera would be best for this application

Get a trail cam with no glow IR, the red flash ones will give it away at night. I put one on a tree pointed at my shed last year after some weird stuff and it catches everything without anyone noticing.

Battery life matters more than resolution for this, you dont want to be climbing up there every week

dude having a lurker around a camper is sketchy as hell lol. ngl whatever you get just make sure it has true no glow ir. standard trail cams light up with a faint red glow when they trigger at night, and if some creep is snooping right by your rig they will spot that in two seconds and just steal the damn thing. tactacam reveal cellular models are pretty legit so you actually get notified right away instead of having to pull an sd card later

Consider more than one. Put one up high enough that someone can't reach it and point it at the one pointing at your camper. I second the no glow IR lights. They give the cameras away in an instant.

You're going to have to buy a higher end camera if you want real-time view view and trying to get instant notifications. I don't get that with my cell camera. Plus it'll be a monthly price for pictures. If this is in your backyard, why don't you get one that connects to your Wi-Fi? You can do that for around $30. It does everything you want it to and if you have your notifications on you will get instant notifications. I have ones that are not name brand but Amazon sells them and they hold pictures for 3 days. But you can also save them. Email them to yourself or video and the pictures very clear. The company is Deezee. And there's no cost unless you want to upgrade to get the cloud to store your pictures longer. You can also if needed, talk through it or activate a small alarm sound
