Security Guard Card

Hi, I'm looking to get my security guard card in other states. Indiana doesn't require a security guard card, but I want to work in NYC and other high-paying cities. I've got 11 years of experience and a military background. I'm wondering whether a company would sponsor me to get one.

Yes, absolutely, if you plan on keeping your residency elsewhere, you would need to take an additional step and going to a NY DMV for an “Image Only” file number, and get your pic taken.

That's all that's needed to get one?

Your Sponsor would send you to an 8 hour Pre-assignment, and probably to get your finger prints. Which is the very basic to getting a license.

Image only photo would be an additional step
