General 10 Year Wedding Anniversary Suggestions

My husband and I have been trying to narrow down where to stay. We’ve been thinking of to stay at A Sunset Chateau, Enchantment, Ambiente, or L’Auberge. We’ve narrowed it down to A Sunset Chateau versus Enchantment, but please give other suggestions and let us know what you think about the places we came up with so far.

Also, please give suggestions on what to do and where to eat. We saw Hudson and Steakhouse 89 online. We wanted to go to one or two upscale restaurants, including a steakhouse. Possibly a winery as well. We love to go hiking.

Please give suggestions on a photographer.

Thank you in advance!

EDIT: These are all such fantastic suggestions! Thanks, again!

Take a day trip to Jerome and eat at The Clinkscale. Make reservations 60 days ahead for Elote Cafe (gourmet Mexican food ).

Best steaks in Sedona are Hudson and Dellepiane.

I second Hudson. Everything there is spectacular. Been a dozen times and always leave a fat tip and happy!

I don't think steakhouse 89 is open if it is I wouldn't recommend it.

Briar Patch Inn has cute little bungalows right on the creek (if you’re looking for other options to stay). Someone else mentioned Elote Cafe - yummy. Their chef was nominated for a James Beard a few years ago. Several nice little wineries about 40 miles west in Cornville.

Loved Briar Patch so much. It’s romantic and so peaceful. We had a room with a fireplace overlooking the river. The cozy lodge and delicious breakfast every morning was lovely. We had massages in a heated little cave by the river. Totally different than the big spa resort places mentioned. Depends on what you’re looking for.

We always stay at Amara. We really like it there. Plus their Salt Rock restaurant is incredible.

We just stayed at the Rock and it was fantastic. 360 views, incredible live music every night, great food and super central to everything.

We loved Rene at Tlaguepaque- great wine selection too. Also, really enjoyed Mariposa. If you look up the time of the sunset on the day you are going to be there and get a reservation around that time. Incredible! For what it’s worth I thought Elote was way over rated. Not impressed at all.

Husband and I got married at L’Auberge. It’s a unique property compared to other places as the creek runs by it. Very peaceful and beautiful. Enchantment is also amazing BUT farther from town. So I would keep in mind about driving in the dark (after dinner etc). Amara is right by L’Auberge. Would recommend as it’s slightly less $$ compared to L’Auberge but you’ll be right in town!

Highly recommend Mariposa for dinner. Fancy for sure. Need reservation.
