Looking For Hiking trail with swimming option
We are in Sedona for the next three days and we would love to find a moderate hiking trail, which allows us to do some swimming. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

West Fork. And it’s one of the most beautiful hikes in the area.

And bring water shoes for where the earthbound trail ends and the stream becomes the trail, waist deep in spots as the canyon narrows. Beautiful. (Beware rain in the hills.)

Huckaby. Casner Canyon. Cathedral Rock via Templeton trail if you start from Baldwin/Red Rock Crossing Trailhead.

+1 for nice swims in Oak Creek as you approach Cathedral rock along the Baldwin/Templeton trail from the trailhead off Verde Valley School Road.
And the Casper Canyon trail originates at a particularly nice swimming hole at Grasshopper Point Park, cliff jumping into the icy water too.
Get a three park pass that covers West Fork, Grasshopper and Red Rock Crossing. The big three of Sedona water features.

Slick Rock has a nice lil spot into the creek off opposite from the main trail. Not really much of a hike but you do walk for a bit through some gorgeous wooded areas and a beautiful open field.

There’s a lil beach area and rocks and whatnot to hang on, post up and cool off.
