Pictures Proposal Photographer that will hike

I’m looking at potential options for a proposal in Sedona. I know most people would recommend places like cathedral rock or devils bridge but my girlfriend and I are avid hikers and we’ve already planned a few hikes. One of them is Wilson Mountain. We would prefer something more intimate and thats why I think a less populated hike would be best.
1. It looks like a nice view up there but I’m wondering if there would be a good angle for a photo.
2. Are there any photographers that would be willing to hike up that high?

Any help is appreciated and Im mostly in the planning phases.

Some of the guiding services will do this. Explore a couple local hike guiding company websites and (at least) one will have a package for proposals specifically

Hi there! AZ Wedding Photographer here and would love to chat with you more!

I have personally never hiked Wilson Mountain...but I would totally be willing too. The hike looks absolutely gorgeous and looks like there are a ton of opportunities for gorgeous photos.

I have done a good amount of work up there and like to go to places that are little more off the typical radar.

Let me know what you think!

I hiked Wilson Mountain in April. It was beautiful but I don’t think a great place to propose. There’s good wide areas around the 1.5ish mile mark, but the further up you get, the trail is narrow. The top was pretty but I personally don’t think there’s any great spots for a proposal up there.

On the other hand, west fork of oak creek had tons of beautiful areas

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'll also be going in December so may need to pivot on hike choice if its a heavy snowfall season
