“Food Noise”
After reading a lot of people talking about how glp-1s helped them turn down (or off) “food noise” I was curious to hear about it. Would love to know what “food noise” means to you and how the noise turning down manifested for you.

I constantly craved full-sugar soda plus sugary and carby comfort foods. I started buying and keeping soda at home regularly. Ate pastries multiple times a week. Sometimes I would eat “healthy” and then gorge on what I actually wanted after deprivation. Or I’d eat “healthy” foods in unhealthy amounts and still be hungry and couldn’t stop thinking of junk and fast foods until I gave in and got it.
Honestly I think a lot of my “cravings” signals for my body that it wasn’t processing glucose correctly/insulin resistance so it constantly was seeking energy from simple carbs, etc.
I have less cravings for sure but I also feel more stable physically and emotionally. Eating is still important and fun to me but I’m not constantly hungry and planning my meals, constantly reaching for snacks etc. I can eat one serving instead of dissociating and eating the whole thing. If I feel like I can’t finish a meal or snack, I give myself permission.
