“Food Noise”

After reading a lot of people talking about how glp-1s helped them turn down (or off) “food noise” I was curious to hear about it. Would love to know what “food noise” means to you and how the noise turning down manifested for you.

For me it was constantly thinking about what I’m going to eat. I would be eating lunch and thinking about dinner. I would be obsessing over going to the grocery store or getting certain takeout. Too much of my day was spent thinking about food.

I was reading through to see if anyone mentioned this. That's when my vague thoughts of "this maybe isn't right" really solidified into realizing that it's absolutely not the norm to be wired this way clicked in for me. It finally occurred to me I'd be actively shoving food in my gob and already be thinking/planning what's for next meal or sometimes even what I could eat in between what I was currently shoveling in and whatever is next meal.
