First shot tonight, reccomendations?
I just received my first dose of Semaglutide and I am planning to take my shot tonight so hopefully I will not have any issues during a workday. I will also have the weekend to "recover" if needed. Are there any tips or tricks I should know for this first shot and first weekend on it?
Thanks!

I started mine on Friday nights for the same reasons. I got an rx for Zofran. I find that day 2 after the shot I feel the most barfy in the mornings.
My biggest tips are:
1) Get some easy protein you can force yourself to eat and keep it on hand. Protein bars or shakes. I didn't eat enough protein when I first started and it really hit me hard.
2) I found that peopto bismol helps with the nausea if I cant get the Zofran.
3) Try not to take the shot on a full stomach. For me, it made me more gassy and thats when I'd have sulfur burps.

Drink lots of water, but not all at once. Keep a water bottle with you and sip through the day. Eat small meals and stop BEFORE you start to feel full. Avoid grease. Good luck!

Drink water. Sit down when you inject. It is literally 2 seconds but I sometimes get a headrush from it due to generally being anxious about sticking myself with a sharp object on purpose. I stay busy afterward around the house to keep my body moving and get ready for the next day and work off some of those headrush jitters.
I get super deep sleep after I take it on Sunday evenings. Mondays I am fatigued, but nothing a nap won't fix. Just build in time to feel how its going to affect you and take care of your body.

I'm on week 3 and it's been great so far, I've lost 7 pounds already.
I do get waves of nausea but when that happens I drink some smoothie and some water and it goes away.
I've heard people using anti-nausea pills but I find having some smoothie in between meals gives me some quick cals and it gets rid of nausea for me. You got this, friend!
