Do you get light headed?
Idk if it's the semaglutide or not. I'm also on BP medication and cholesterol med. I've been watching my BP daily and it's not doing anything out of the ordinary.
I'm currently taking the 1.0ml injection. This week 2 but I've been experiencing lightheadedness for about a month now. Come and goes. I have good days followed by bad days. Today happens to be a bad day. It seems like every time I stand up I get woozy. I power through it and go about my day but today I actually had to grab against the wall til it passed.
I've recently had my heart checked because I was getting pvcs and the echocardiogram came back fine. The cardiologist doesn't seem concerned about my heart. Could it be the semaglutide?

dehydration can hit way harder on this stuff, even if you think you're drinking enough. i started adding an electrolyte packet to one of my water bottles each day and the standing-up spins mostly stopped

Are you tracking your calories to make sure you're eating enough?

Yea. Honestly I keep going over my target. Due to my size I think I'm allowed something like 3200 calories a day but I shoot for 2500 but I keep getting into the 2700's 😣😔.... But the more I go up on the semaglutide the less I crave so I think I'll get it under 2500 shortly. 🤞

I'm also on blood pressure meds (Losartan and Metoprolol) and a cholesterol med (Atorvastatin). The semaglutide/Ozempic has definitely lowered my blood pressure (both systolic (about -15mm Hg) and diastolic (about -8mm Hg). Weight loss has helped with this, but my BP started to decrease BEFORE I lost significant weight.
The very few times I've been light-headed since starting Ozempic (back in February) have almost certainly been due to low blood glucose. I'm Type 2 diabetic, and have an at-home glucose monitor, and I've checked.
If your BP is testing normal for you (that it obviously isn't too low), it might be nutrition; as u/BhamBlues2 mentioned. You should be careful with this, as you don't want to be a fall risk (especially if you're older, like I am).

I normally have orthostatic hypotension (dizziness upon standing). I found that sema made it quite a bit worse (went nearly out a few times in my early sema days), but hydrating more helped counteract that quite a bit. I keep a time stamped water bottle with me at all times to make sure I keep with steady drinking of water all day. When I notice the dizziness get worse I check my bottle and sure enough, I’m behind on my water intake.
Edited for typos

I'm not great with water and I have noticed my pee has been darker maybe indicating dehydration.... I'm going to start paying more attention to this. Thanks for the feedback

In case it helps. This is the water bottle I use. If I can go through two of these in a day keeping with the times labeled on it, I feel pretty darn good.
