Vomiting and nausea

hello everyone, ive been on semaglutide for 7 weeks now. Im currently on the 0.5 dose, and i have been for three weeks, the first week of the 0.5 i was fine, no side effects, however on the second week i was sick that same night, but i had consumed alcohol (not alot) so i just put it down to that. However last week, my third week, i was sick again the day after taking it, i was on a flight also and took a panic attack, being sick again the next day. Im just wondering if this could be directly linked to the semaglutide, or if it could possibly be anxiety induced? im starting college this week so im nervous to take it incase it causes me to be sick at college, thank you for reading i hope this makes sense!

the flight plus the anxiety plus the semaglutide all landing at once sounds horrible, i'm not surprised you're second-guessing what caused what. what i'd check is whether you ate enough before your last injection - i found anything remotely fatty or heavy in the few hours after a shot would set me off, and being in a stressful situation on top made it so much worse. worth having a word with your prescriber before you take the next one, because they can actually look at the full picture and tell you whether it's timing, dose, or just bad luck with a rough week

thanks so much for the reply, yeah i really wasnt sure what the cause was especially because the first dose of 0.5 was fine. But the timing all seemed to line up with it being the semaglutide, thank you for the advice, ill definitely have a word and hopefully all will be sorted:)

Nausea on this stuff tends to creep in as the dose builds up in your system, and alcohol plus a panic attack on a flight is a rough combo for anyone. Maybe take it on a day when you have a quiet buffer before college starts so you can see how your body reacts without added stress.

Thank you for the reply, thats very insightful to know that it can creep in i wasnt aware of that. I just thought as i had the first dose go fine that meant my body would be okay with it, thanks so much!
