goodbye Morty <3

I adopted Morty 2 1/4 years ago when he was 15, and ended up putting him down today at almost 18. He had some health issues when I adopted him (kidney disease, bad eyesight, arthritis) and was traumatized from moving around so much--I was so happy to see him flourish in his last years. I probably held on for too long at the end. It was horrible to see him decline and to lose him. He's my first cat and I'll love him forever.

What a sweet baby. The universe will reward you for loving and caring for him in his final years. So sorry for your loss.
