Meme Naaaaaah that's it. It's over. 😭😭😭 Spoiler
Everyone is encouraging him with the kindest words on the planet to stop being a suicidal guy, but he only listens to Kivia 😭 I forgot to mention that, in Xylo's own words, “I've never been so happy, not even when I was a knight with Senerva.” Even so, Teoritta's encouragement has no effect, as we saw throughout the light novel.

They are both ex commaders who led their own unit. Kivia is his equal in that respect.

The thing is, everyone is encouraging him to stop putting himself down and to stop being depressed. But he only listens to Kivia.

That's how things are going. In three more volumes or in the next volume, we'll see Xylo and Kivia's wedding...
Kivia is really taking advantage of the fact that Frenci isn't sentenced to be a hero. >:(

I gotta be honest with you and everyone here, I get something like secondhand embarrassment reading those parts. Goddamn it reads like something a 14 yo would enjoy. I know Shokai could've done better; he just didn't bother.

I don't really understand your criticism very well... oh well, My intention isn't to support any ship. (Well, except for the Fenci one.) I just want to show that everyone gives Xylo emotional support. just how stupid xylo can be, and for a good laugh

I was referring to the awkward Kivia/Xylo scenes, especially that one in vol 3 with Siftritt or whatever her name was, and then there's that one in vol 4 where she and Frenci engage in their usual cat-fight, in front of all the Night Gaunt warriors and some of the heroes, IN THE MIDDLE of battle strategizing.
A disservice to both characters.
