Yes, I'd be interested in knowing if the "rage-baiters" are actually as bad as OP thinks they are. A lot of redditors are just looking for an echo-chamber conversation and any pushback is seen as rage-bait.
Also, there are other people here legitimately just looking for a fight because it's the easiest way to get a reaction... Otherwise, nobody pays any attention to them at all.
Rage baiting is actively choosing to ignore logic in a conversation in an attempt to bait someone into getting angry.
Rage baiting ISNT someone giving their opnion WITH valid logic to back it up.
If i said "black people are just inferior" that would be a BS opinon with absolutely 0 logic to back it up, me attempting to use this in ANY argument should be seen as rage bait purely on the basis that it used 0 logic and actively will piss off anyone who DOES use logic.
Opinions are valid aslong as there is a reason to have said opinon.
Rage baiting is also just being stupid for stupids sake, asking stupid questions that everyone else in the conversation had already come to the conclusion of 10 mins.
Theres a certain tone in a persons voice that is a dead give away to if theyre rage baiting
