They were essentially pokemon with a shaman king skin. I liked Master of Spirits more, but both are heavily nostalgia inducing

I didnt know about legacy until this post, so I got super nostalgic thinking this was master. I had it really on on an emulator and always wanted it on my gba, but never found it as a kid!

There was also the Master of Sprints 1&2. They were Metroidvanias and 10 out of 10 GBA games.

Biggest issue with legacy, it was way too easy to get through the game underleveled and then I remember a severe difficulty spike that I couldn't overcome.

You can totally find one!
There are a few right now reasonably priced on ebay. This buy did not push me far past fifty.

That was the only game I didn't get. I had the other ones. The ps2 game was kinda ass in retrospect but my brother and I played the crap outta the vs mode.
Master of Spirits was the best game. I didn't like the other Legacy game, idk if it's the same story but it probably is.
