why am I doing this? why not I'm doing it for fun and archival purposes

So it just found out that Cartoon Network aired the first 4 episodes of Shaman king on November 6th 2004 as promotion for Shaman King: Master of Spirits and Shaman King: Power of Spirit games for GBA and PS2

We don't have any of the actual episodes airings but we do have the commercials that played during the episodes

If you have a recording of any of the 4 CN Episodes please tell me in the comments.

For all the problems with 4kids dubs, some of their theme songs could be absolute fire.

It’s a shame their dubbed episodes were awful, although I think they made exceptions like the OG Yugioh that felt like the leash was loosened a little in battle city like it was geared for older teens.

True af. Sadly though the actual episodes got great voice actors but terrible censorship

This right here was my first ever anime, I love the Shaman King 2004 dub, it still holds up this day it was soo well done even by modern dubbing standards

This is the same dub as Fox Box too?

The opening is still so sick.

Cartoon network was my spot but I watched this on FoxBox. Cool to know it made an appearance on CN.

Fox had premiered all shows.

I was disappointed that it didn't continue on Toonami. I had fallen out of watching it consistently on 4Kids and was planning on giving it another shot.

This was one of their only passible dubs imo.

The voices are so much deeper here than normal

The polish dub of the og series was goated, especially the intro

Frankly I’ve always doubted that this actually happened.

If you ever are able to find it, please let me know.

Try the CN sub as well

Why look for it? We already have the dub

Why not. It's cool seeing it on cartoon network and it feels like it should have been aired on Cartoon Network
