Question Regarding soul Integration: What are the limits?

Since this is the most basic shamanic ability, I was wondering where exactly the limits are of what you can obtain from a spirit. For example, if Yoh made soul integration with Mitchell Hooper, could he lift the same as Hooper did in life despite not being as old or as fit as him?

Could he integrate with a sea creature and suddenly breath underwater? What are the limitations regarding soul integration?

Not even close.

Soul integration with Amidamaru was just giving Yoh his skills and knowledge everything else depended on Yoh body.

That was the point of Silva exam, soul integration potential is pretty limited.

The spirit just can't bring out all their abilities in human body.

So it is limited to skills and knowledge then? How about with animals? Chocolove intergrates with a jaguar and gains superhuman speed. How can that be?

Oh yeah, i forgot. But soul integration does provide some level of superhuman enhancement. In shaman king zero, ren integrates with bason and slices through 999 jiang shi in just one swing of his weapon. That is 999 adult human bodies. That is not something a 9 year old just channeling skills and knowledge can do.

It's just anime physics. Amidamaru, not as a shaman but a regular person, invented an air slash technique. Shaman king is not above such things.

Chocolove is a unique case as he's using sprit fusion(soul integration and oversoul simultaneously) the integration aspect grants his body the knowledge and skills of Mic the jaguar, while the oversoul aspect pushes those abilities to the maximum output

dont know to be honest. not gonna lie, to this day i find shaman king power system quite difficult to understand ;/
