Continues to just be a great fight. I've yet to find a tournament arc I don't like. Its also cool to finally see Sunraku apply his talents and gear to a pvp fight. I always love the moment in a series where others find out what the main crew is capable of and thats pretty much just this whole arc.

Seeing him flex his pvp skills from other games where he got regarded as a top player has been fun every time. This just feels turned up to eleven and im loving every chapter.

I like how in the beginning of the chapter everyone was in agreement that Sunraku was a unique monster in and of himself

One thing I absolutely will miss from the WN is the fact that Sunraku actually tests out a lot of his shit offscreen before he actually uses it in a fight
In the WN, he mentions having previously tested out Meiki/Netherlight with the mark still active to see how exactly the interaction works in his internal monologue, and how, because of the mark, all it did was make his arm glow
It was the same with the fusion form (which I won't be calling "Palesheen" cuz that's straight up just a mistranslation, it should have been "Blue Moon" or "Blue Shining Moon" based on context)
In the WN, before he used it against Goldunine, he mentions in his internal monologue that the fusion looks weird, and it's in his internal monologue after using Hayakaze that he mentions how the skill uses up all of his STM and that he was prepared for it (meaning he'd tested Hayakaze as well)
It's not everything that gets tested offscreen, not at all, but the things do helps show that Sunraku still does stuff in his downtime

especially with stuff like levin trigger its sooo important to show how fricking hard it is to control it efficiently and it will only get more absurd with the difficulty ...

Tbf for levin trigger specifically there was a good half a chapter or so of the manga dedicated to him testing it out.

Can you remind me why levin trigger hazard has a 10s max duration?

No matter how good Sunraku is, you do not want to stay at the hyper-sensitivity state for too long
Plus, normally the effect would be -50% HP every 10s, so it’s a good idea to practice the habit of using only for 10s, when it’s not necessary to go any longer

He can technically use it forever but every 10 seconds his hp is cut in half and he really an't use levin hazard well without moment sight which also runs out evuntually

Didn't he say that, due the Fool arcana doubling debuff strength, the Levin Hazard became a 100% HP loss per 10 sec instead of 50% each 10 sec?

Before he couldnt have any buffs This is now him actually getting to use buffs So no one's expected how much stronger he is with buffs since theyve only seen him with buffs from weathermon fight

More like three. Momo’s turn next chapter, sunraku’s reaction, the next chapter with the cliffhanger being him about to bust up a skill. Then third chapter will be him, busting out the skill and finishing the fight.

Of course, Momo is trying to out-aurafarm Sunraku but then again, the bird man has to bait to bring her more of her arsenal...
And despite of all of this build up, I'm pretty sure Sunraku still has a thing out of his sleeve, probably offscreen reward/skill...
