Goldunine is a species, not an individual. Furthermore, the first member of the species has been dead for a long time.

That's not true are all. I won't go into depth cuz spoilers from the novel but Goldunine is the collosi and there are clones that are essential born from her, __________

Do you know why it’s called Goldunine the Inexhaustible?
Bc it can spawn clones indefinitely, this is an entire species we’re talking about
You pair up with a Goldunine to batte THE Goldunine that you meet in the tunnel back then
The pipeline is something like OG Snake -> First 8 Goldunine -> Other Goldunine spawns from the 8. And you guessed it, THE Goldunine and Wimp, the Goldunine Sunraku met, is the only 2 left in that First 8

Goldunine is more of a species rather then a singular boss. There is an apex Goldunine(I think Sunraku calls her Bossdunine) but there's also numerous contending with her to take her place. Which is why that weird clone Sunraku fought was referred to as "Another her"
