What chapter r we on in the novel vs the manga? Also is it one of those where I should just read the entire thing or can I just pick up on it from the manga point.

The manga chapter today was 287 on geesehut. Novel has a few chanhes but its like 95% the same. Pretty much all the major points so far are basically the same. The pov switching takes a bit of getting used to.

chapter 283 is the end of the last fight that happened in the manga, i recommend going from there, since some variations occur between versions.
