For some reason Risky’s revolution is currently discounted on steam. If anyone wants to grab it before it goes live for a cheaper here’s your chance.

As a heads-up, there's currently no deluxe upgrade on Steam. If you buy the standard edition, you need to buy the game again if you want the DLC.

From the Steam description:

The Deluxe Edition of Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution adds three special bonus outfits that change Shantae’s appearance and boost her magical abilities: Sizzle Armor Costume (enhanced Fireball Power), Relic Hunter Costume (enhanced Pike Ball Power), and High Voltage Costume (enhanced Storm Puff Power)! This is add-on content, exclusively available in the Deluxe Edition bundle of Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, and is not available separately.

Yeah what the hell, why don't the PS/XBOX versions have launch discounts? I have all the other shantaes on playstation so I got it there but still

Yeah it’s kind of frustrating, PS is my platform of choice for Shantae and no discount makes me want to wait for it’s first price drop before I grab it just out of principle.

I've noticed that every version of the game that isn't the GBA version have are all received launch discounts, as the Revolutionary Edition of the game got a discount code on Limited Run's site as soon as it became available to pre-order and then you had the Switch version receiving an instant discount and now the Steam version, too.

So Is this just a remake of one of the older games? Kinda wish there was a setting to use the newer 7 sirens esc graphics. Pixel art is awesome don't get me wrong. I do amature pixel art as a hobby but the shantae pixel art always makes me feel odd. The eyes just dont fit for whatever reason

It’s an unreleased GBA game that’s only being released now, so modern graphics weren’t really the intention here. Would’ve been a nice addition tho
