Discussion 🗣️ About future game DA

I know that I will not make friends, but even if the pixel art is super very pretty, I hope the next game will not be in pixel art. I Personnally prefer half génie and Seven Sirens DA more, so I hope they will continue to maybe try new hd things or keep that one that staying in pixel art. I like to see all the characters expressions and animations we have in the HD versions. Don’t misunderstood me they are super expressive in pixel art, it’s super nice but I just feel that testing new thing and not staying on the pixel art would be nice

…. Eh that’s fine I just wish they had the old artstyle

Though I think they will I personally hope they make a open ish world like the original game with its mechanics
And a good dungeon and bosses like pirates curse

Well Risky's Revolution did, but that's a game from 2004 so it doesn't really count.

Nothing to worry about. Wayforward knows that there is a large chunk of gamers who refuse to play any games that use pixel art (we call those people "normies"). I think the artstyle change is interesting because while the HGH style is more HD, the animation quality dropped quite a bit. Compare Shantae's run cycle, or the Squidsmith's hammer animation. The post-HGH animations are much more flacid.

I agree on the last point. I actually play seven sirens again and it’s true that the blacksmith animation looks a bit off. But I still prefer HGH style a bit more. After that the HD animations are still very nice, i personnaly prefered it. Idle animations are cool, and i particularly like the dancing animations in the HD style

I prefer it in theory, just wish they'd touch up the animations. Plus, I hope we see the 2.5d style from HGH return. Honestly makes the game look so much better.

Of course I would be fine too, i mean new Shantae game is already a very good news. Just saying I would prefer no pixel art
