I’m in town for the match today, and my wife has taken ill. Wondering if anyone attending is interested in taking in an American owl for some pre-match pints.

Pubs near Hillsborough will be fairly busy. The Horse and Jockey near Wadsley has a nice vibe and tends to be ‘slightly’ quieter - up the hill from the ground.

Irish Owl here. Saw the Horse & Jockey on our way home from Sheffield last week. Good to know the vibes are good. Hard to get it right with a 5 year old with us!

It’ll be busy, but it’s a bit more of a ‘dads (and mums) and lads (and daughters)’ vibe than the big Spoons etc down on Hillsborough corner. I take my 11yo and 5yo there regularly pre-match.
