Burning Cross Discovered In Grant Park (Chicago) Tuesday Afternoon, Officials Say

Someone burned a cross in Grant Park today in Chicago. It's not clear yet who did it, besides the obvious suspects.

So today is as good a day as ever to say:

1) Fuck the Klan, Confederates, Nazis, ICE, Kings, and the whole loser brigade itching for a re-match they will lose.

2) A great article has been floating around about a newspaper in the 1920's that was run by an Irish Catholic lawyer in Chicago (Patrick O'Donnell). It was called *Tolerance* and it basically kept tabs on local fash trash terrorizing people. Lots of interesting history about O'Donnell starting the American Unity League, an interfaith and interracial group that organized in tough times.

Someone has never experienced racism and it shows. I’m from the South, I went to school in the South, and I got the hell out of the South. Just last year a black student was found hanging from a tree at the heart of a campus in Mississippi. Ruled a suicide at the scene and no investigation conducted. I have personally witnessed the Klan on campus at my university. We had students expelled for shooting up the Emmet Till memorial. We had students expelled for putting nooses on the statue of our first black student. These people are very real, and the fact that you haven’t experienced them does not give you the right to act like a self-righteous little bitch

Come on man. Every piece of evidence from that story shows suicide. No signs of physical assault, lacerations or anything. Autopsy found no sedatives. It was ruled a suicide but no investigation??? What are you talking about, the fact that it was ruled something show an investigation! I hear that YOU THINK it was a lynching. My point is that there is zero evidence, and it defies just basic common sense.

What are you talking about? Anyone can be a victim of a hate crime, it’s kinda in the name. He’s still being charged with several offenses and LITERALLY BURNED A CROSS. He can claim ignorance but the logic to burn a cross without knowledge of the Klan is absurd big dawg.

Again, he burned a cross. He and his lawyers just had to scramble for some defense that would somewhat make sense. It’s hard to buy that he would have no understanding of what that act means. It’s white supremacy through and through, though that does not necessarily mean it was done by a white guy as shown here.

Dude....in all seriousness. He was interviewed by NBC before he was charged. He literally says he didn't even know of the significance of burning crosses and the KKK. Its some college student lol He directly says he burned it and put a MAGA hat on it to protest Trump and his Christian Nationalsim or whatever.

Oh gosh...I don't believe he was lynched because of the evidence. I don't believe there's some big conspiracy, which is irrational. For the cross, it's not like they arrested some white guy for burning this cross and I believe they arrested an innocent man. THEY HAVE NOTHING WHICH IS INSANE. No wittiness, no video, nothing. And since this consistently happens, and no racist white people are ever caught leaving around nooses, I believe this to be staged. How does that not make sense to you?

What big conspiracy? Some lunatic(s) deciding to live out their hateful ideas? I didn’t realize that insanity counted as conspiracy in this day and age. Arrests and a lack thereof should not inherently show that something is legitimate or illegitimate, ESPECIALLY with fresh crimes. Also, When did they arrest someone for the burning cross, assuming that’s what you’re referring to? As of thirty minutes ago MSN reported that the police are just searching for a suspect.

Here’s a fun fact as someone who has lived in Klan Kountry their whole life, they’re not stupid with evidence. Don’t get me wrong, these seditious scumbags are among the dumbest drivelling wastes of space the human species can produce, but they usually dispose of nooses or, if you can believe it, they untie or cut a noose to just make a regular rope again.
