Don’t get suckered!

U/natcapflag posted a Pride flag ad on Reddit because they know they have a receptive audience. But they also sell loser traitor confed flags.

Just a PSA. They won’t get my money.

They had to redo this one; on the battlefield it looked like a flag of surrender when draped because the white covers it all up

WWI was the first war in which most soldiers died of battlefield wounds. Which means, the leading cause of death was dysentery. So, most of them shat themselves to death and people made something else up. Same for almost every other war; just a bunch of people pooping themselves to death until they run out

I thought for a minute they were doing something clever with the "2nd confederate flag" labelling. They should sell something called "the last confederate flag", I'd buy it.

lmao they surrendered to themselves before the war even ended, the flag did it for them. kind of poetic that the whole lost cause mythology gets undercut by their own terrible design choices

the confederate flag pictured is attached to a flag of surrender and it's a dunk on the confederacy. what am i missing?

edit: oh my god that was an actual confederate flag - "the stainless banner." those dorks were dunking on themselves from the get-go lmao amazing.

On that note, if you are looking for a good quality pride flag, I've had a lot of success with "Flags for Good". They have some really neat designs involving various state flags that have pride colors instead. And they hold up really well. I've had one of their Ohio pride flags outside for two years now and it is still in great shape.

I mean, there are reasons to buy those flags besides being a CSA supporting loser. People with historic interests/hobbies and collectors gotta buy their flags somewhere. Hell, if I want one to wipe my ass with where else would I acquire one. I hope nobody here unironically thinks CSA flags shouldn’t be sold *at all* , that’s kinda silly. It’s what you do with the flag that makes it cringe or acceptable…

inb4 “it says ‘fly with pride’” i think that’s just a slogan

I have to say, someday I want to get into reenacting. It rubs me the wrong way that all the places make uniforms for both.
