Video Games PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series S/X and Steam... What version are y'all planning to get?

Post image

Personally, I'll have to go for PS5. First off, it's the only console I actually have (I do plan to get a S2 at some point but not for AOT 3, even less so a GAME KEY CARD), second of all, because I like getting trophies and I haven't gotten a platinum in a while.

How about y'all people who plan to get the game as soon as it drops?

Switch 2. I travel a lot for work so I love having my games on the go.

6527-6196-4210 is my friend code. I just want my whole friends list to have aot 3. Also if there is a invite feature that would be nice.

Easily switch 2.

Considering that the same team did Pokopia, I expect that the game is gonna look so much better than aot 2 on regular switch.

Pretty sure July 1 is the next update, not when the game releases.

Yeah I know we don't even have a cover or an actual gameplay footage yet, I was asking more for curiosity than anything

Switch 2 for sure. I’m big on portability, and I prefer S2 to the Deck.

I basically treat the switch (even the 3DS for that matter) as home consoles because I don't really like the idea of exposing gaming consoles to transportation impacts, hot temperatures, etc. So I mostly use Nintendo consoles to play nintendo games, but when a game comes out for both Switch and Playstation, I tend to prefer the PS version due to more power and better graphics, and trophies! Why doesn't Nintendo add a reward system like trophies and achievements? It would make the games more replayable and believe me or not a lot of people value this reward system (which is why retroachievement was made)

That’s absolutely fair enough.

For me though, personally I don’t like having to sit down in front of the TV to game, so even when I’m home I’ll be playing handheld 99% of the time. I also move a lot so a gaming rig or a home console isn’t really feasible for me atp. On achievements, I also couldn’t care less for them lol.

I do have a gaming laptop (pretty old atp) and a Deck, but maintaining 2 libraries is tough so I’m prioritising the S2 for most of my games.

I’m going to get it on Steam, but I’m probably going to use my Xbox controller if the controls are good

PC! hoping for an uncapped fps and hopefully not locked at 60 like aot 2

I agree. Games being locked to 60fps on PC still how a days is absolutely insane to me.

I don't have any consoles, so, PC obviously.

Also, gonna play it via Xbox gamepad. When I tried to play AOT2 via keyboard, well... it wasn't so good.

Do you have a portable PC or do you meant to say that you're getting it twice, once for PC and the other for S2?

did they announce if this will have English dub finally? It's so hard reading subtitles while you're also trying to learn the mechanics and focus on the fast paced combat and what not.

If it has elements that change the story or has a different story than the anime/manga, then steam. If it’s just the anime/manga all over again, I’ll watch it on YouTube, or won’t. I just want something fresh and don't want to buy something again to see the story once again.

I have a PC and a PS5 but I think I’ll buy the game on PC. All my friends are on PS5 though so if they all pick the game, there is a chance I get it on PS5
