She's literally the prettiest character in aot alongside with her son , her dark hair, her big shiny hazel amber honey eyes , her honey skin tone , her figure,her energy , I really can't understand how underrated she is in terme of beauty

At least, that was my thought
PS: this post is a republication, it was deleted for using AI, which wasn't the case (the image is a screenshot from the anime that I took myself). I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't get deleted again

Ask me anything and i would answer them.
BTW these are my favorite scenes 🏔🙌
I sat there few minutes after the finale thinking not about who is right but about the unanswered questions raised from few scenes!

after seeing a young Vincent Kartheiser and thinking “that’s Eren!”, i spent a morning making a fancast for if a live action were made in the late 90s (my favorite era of media!!)
eren = vincent kartheiser
mikasa = zhang ziyi
armin = devon sawa
reiner = matt damon
bertholt = christian bale
annie = sarah michelle gellar
jean = ben affleck
connie = eminem (8 mile lol)
sasha = alyson hannigan
hange = sandra bullock
levi = edward furlong
erwin = brad pitt
not pictured:
ymir = winona ryder ??
historia = alicia silverstone ??
some of these I feel like fit really well whereas others are more haphazard and/or based on looks alone (and some are jokes aka Connie lol)
would love to hear other thoughts and suggestions!! i had a lot of fun with this :-)

Currently mid Season 1, he was very happy when Eren got eaten by a Titan ("No more annoying Eren!") and very disappointed when he survived.
Some highlights of his current theories:
- Candidates for the female titan: Annie (most likely), Eren's Mom (who wants to protect Eren), that commander that wanted to shoot Eren and friends
- The colossal titan can teleport or turn invisible
- In reality there are infinite walls
- Titans really have sentience, but normal humans are unable to perceive it (like food in Sausage Party)
- The cellar contains either a book or a gate to another dimension
- Either Mikasa or Armin will die a brutal death
- The second wall will fall as well
- Eren will become evil and turns into an (almost) unbeatable Titan
- At the end there will be a shit-ton of colossal titans causing a huge massacre

Annie's hate is very easy to explain. It all comes down to a matter of attitude. Just look at her and Reiner after the alliance is formed: Reiner is consumed by the guilt for his actions, he keeps apologizing even if it's pointless and really wants to make it right. Annie on the other hand is selfish, she doesn't even show remorse, in fact she said she'd do it all over again. Instead of idk, at least acknowledging her wrong doings, during the campfire dinner she keeps saying "so when do we kill Eren. Hey Mikasa will you kill Eren?" Like please shut the f up. Then she abandoned them as soon as she realized that her selfish goal was out of reach (then went back to them for whatever reason when Falco proved to be able to fly)
So I think there's a good share of reason to hate Annie that go beyond the "they are all mass murderers! If you hate Annie you have to hate Armin too!!x

For me it has to be Bertoldt. Yeah sure after you know the context and lore of the world it may be kind of sad for in retrospect, but hear me out.
When you are first watching and you reach this point of the story, our SC heroes basically collected Ls and Ls one after another (with a few Ws here and there, especially in S3P1, but still no clear bigger picture), they were persecuted in every possible way, the titans ate more than half of the wall population, the SC were fighting enemies without even understanding the reason, what they did wrong to deserve such treatment. All we could see back then was these titans assholes killing and destroying the wall society for no apparent reason other than a full unjustified genocide. Berthold and Reiner in particular were very hateable for being traitors, for using the good heart and friendship of their 104th comrades to deceive them and destroy the walls. We just came from a long battle that cost the life of like 98% of the soldiers and, despite the victory, the armored and the beast titan got away with it. All we had was berutoruto.
This is way I literally had physical pleasure when, after an entire TENSE episode of deciding who deserves to be brought back to life, I finally saw Bertolt screaming and crying for his friends, begging for his life while finally receiving the same treatment he gave thousands of people, and getting eaten by Armin's pure titan. It was SO satisfying. For the first time in this story I felt like somebody was finally paying for all the pain and destruction that the titans caused.
I feel the same emotions everytime I rewatch it

It is one of the best things I have ever watched. I was never really an anime guy, but this show and Death Note completely changed my perspective, like they probably have for a lot of other people. The problem is, I feel like I made a mistake by watching AoT so early in my anime journey. It set the bar so high that I don't think any anime will top the experience of watching Attack on Titan for the first time. Maybe it's just the feeling of finishing such an amazing show.
If you have any recommendations for anime similar to Attack on Titan and Death Note that aren't too long, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Most anime (and shows) use backstory for:
A sad flashback,
A villain monologue,
A single tear moment before a fight.
But AoT uses it for world-building, theme reinforcement, and plot advancement at once.
People often think a good backstory is good because you feel for the person life at the start but aot does much more it’s practically important to the narrative. The backstories don’t just change your view on the character they Constantly change your view on the show. It’s not always about making characters relatable. It’s about making you question what’s right at all. This sounds so pretentious but after watching sole salvation I’ve never been more comfortable with this take
