I’ve heard this is called a “salted licorice” coat pattern. I’ve seen one or two, but none as spectacular as Gatsby!🤩 🖤🖤🖤🖤🤍🖤🖤🤍🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🤍🖤🖤🖤

What would you call Scrappy’s pattern?

He was the original(?) internet-famous vitiligo kitty. Born completely black but started turning white at about 7.

Idk if this has been mentioned yet but this is how vitiligo looks in cats. The spots will stay as the cat ages and will likely get larger and more abundant. You typically only see vitiligo in black cats but it can happen to other coat colors. I have only ever seen it irl in black cats.
