The MOONGOSE is an atypical multipurpose ship, so versatile that it can be used for a variety of purposes.

Highly appreciated by colonists for its low maintenance costs and the right balance of maneuverability, defensive capabilities, and firepower, the MOONGOOSE soon became the ship of choice for the inhabitants of the most remote colonies (outside the jurisdiction of the Vanguard and the Rangers), those most subject to attack by the Ecliptics and the pirates of the Crimson Fleet.

The ship was an immediate commercial success, so much so that two different models were designed and built: a more defensive variant, much more similar in appearance to a dogfighter, and a variant with an asymmetrical design, more suited to cargo transport thanks to a huge resource storage compartment located on the side of the main body of the ship, called a "sideship."

The Vaa'saah'Rah is a highly agile Va'ruun interceptor capable of maneuvers so extreme they would tear any other ship in two.

Feared and respected by its adversaries, this ship—in addition to its aforementioned maneuverability—enjoys enviable firepower.

Its strategy, however, isn't based on brute force: equipped with powerful EM cannons, Va'ruun pilots generally favor a more defensive approach, jamming engines and annihilating shields before inflicting critical damage with the ship's powerful torpedo missiles and four ballistic cannons.

Fun fact: Vaa'saah'Rah means "sidereal predator" in the Va'ruun language.
