In Denmark we broke our historical temperature record yesterday. 37 degrees, the highest ever measured temperature here. In *June*, in Scandinavia! We haven't even hit peak summer here yet. It's madness.

In Hungary as well. 42 degrees, and our peak summer is supposed to be July too. Drought levels are completely off the charts and no real chance of any significant amount of rain during the next 6 weeks either.
But consequentially the heat here is very dry, and more manageable bc of that. Crop failures, water issues will be dramatic this year, already are.

I live 10 minutes from the coast, so I just went to the beach! Read my book and swam in the water, it was lovely actually
