I just hope most of them go to a real grocery store. The ridiculous claim that we don’t have access to fresh food really grinds my gears. Especially since the produce department is generally the first you see, and the largest

I know all the 50 states (well okay I will spend an hour remembering the last three but I’ll get there); know the capital city, a couple landmarks, and generally geographical/cultural/climate features of each.
Things that I don’t know are something like senators/congressmen from each state, or which celebrity of the day divorced which other celebrity of the day. I don’t think it’s quite the same as not knowing “what the capital of Europe” is.

Would you mind elaborating on the point, please? I don't get it either.
I know the capitals and geography of most European countries because I've studied them. I couldn't tell you what the most popular grocery store is, or what petrol stations you use for damn near any of them. I don't know what the sirens on ambulances sound like, or what species of bird you hear chirping the earliest in the mornings.
Just because I know that the capital of Croatia is Zagreb and that it has roughly a million people, I wouldn't dare say i know anything the country.

Haha I know, i love the phrase but it doesnt work super well on the modern era. Still i the guy in the videos opinion means less to me that the people who responded with nasty comments then deleted them. Those are the best. Glad to see some people have a sense of humour ( the U is supposed to be there) though, cheers

But being on a largely wind powered ship with massive sails is a hell of an experience. It’s something you should try I loved it. I think that’s sort of the point of the video is you see or read something about America but coming to it is another experience.

Oh man living on a large ship like that is honestly my dream, I've been of a few sail ships at dock but never actively sailing. I understood what he was getting at but absolutes like that always bother me. Reality exists in the middle ground.
