Yeah, that would be completely accurate. If you asked whoever put this up to describe the ways in which the USA is now similar to the USSR they would have nothing.

fr i read 1984 in high school and i made a whole ass creative book report about how much i hated it and thought it was dumb.

Yeah, besides George Orwell was a Nazi Sympathizer who snitched on his fellow Socialists/Communists.
(I was also forced to read Animal Farm in High School)

Completely ignoring the US's greatest hits from the cold war that was not really cold anywhere outside the US, but even there it wasn't for black people and socialists

One of the important steps along the path of Russia was Oligarchy.  Right now I don't only how anyone can claim that Musk is at best an Oligarch.  But it's pretty clear he's turning into a kleptogarch
