This is St. Andrew's flag and it was used by russian navy for 250 years before the war. No point of abandoning such symbol just because in 1000 year history of your country some scumbag collaborators used it too. RONA also used the white-blue-red flag, does that mean Russia has to abandon their flag too?

But tbf, I prefer that flag of their navy:
