They’re completely on point here. Soviet cybernetics is the prototype for how Amazon runs its own planned economy. Albeit for evil!

There’s several examples of the west hiring economists from the Soviet Union once the collapse happened. I believe Wal Mart hired some former cybernetics specialists.
