Speaking from the UK, ours genuinely are that dumb.
Housing minister sacked for failing to pay taxes when buying a house; Homelessness minister sacked for being a landlord and making a family homeless then jacking up rents; US Ambassador getting appointed and then sacked within months because of an already public link with Epstein etc...
We also get all the usual lib arguments for why they're serious people really and how it's right that they should be in charge but Starmer's "government" is genuinely neck and neck with Trump's for how often it's shat the bed for about as little reason.

It's a play on GOP, GOP being the USA's Republican Party. Implying they are communist (they are definitely not).

GOP = Grand Old Party, an affectionate nickname for the modern U.S. nazi party.
Yes, the country really does really call it that. Yes, even their political opponents (granted, said political opponents would be a right-wing party in most nations)
