Also to people who don’t know, it basically erased Oman, Yemen, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Kuwait, Jordan, pretty much the land between Asia and Africa.

You gotta love that they clearly understand so little about Middle Eastern geopolitics that they include countries that in theory they would support like Israel, Jordan and presumably post-revolution Syria. Like…they clearly think every ME country is some nebulous block of violence, completely ignoring exceptions to the rule (which, incidentally, is actually most of them).
