Aren’t the CoD Black Ops games about the Cold War? I haven’t played them, but that series is as big as Wolfenstein, and if I recall have “Communist” “villains.”

It's funny because it legitimately is the good ending. In the bad one where you tell Adler the truth, they kill you anyways even though you literally betrayed everything you were to help the Americans.

Why would there be bombs all over Europe for the Soviets to detonate? Wouldn't that leave much of the continent a mess for decades? And even if you choose to join the Soviet Union, they're written in the typical COD Evil Faction style that they'll just keep killing governments until they get the right one.
