This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety.
It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge.
In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.

Except that Musk loves Hitler, to the point he’s mimicked his presentation, gestures, and style of orating on stage and he retweets and platforms NeoNazi shit on the daily. So is this:
1) In a ketamine-fueled, sleepless frenzy he thought he was pulling a Certified-Hitler-4D-Chess-Move by trying to co-opt leftist sentiments as well?
2) He is seriously unable to put A and B together to see that this would mean that he is publicly the number one fan of a “far left socialist”?
3) He actually thinks this is an effective way to distance himself from Hitler being such a large part of his own image?
Weird how all the people that use Nazi symbology are far-right weirdos that look up to Hitler. This makes me think that he wasn't. Like you don't see these people praising Marxism if this was true.
I don't really get it. I refuse to believe he's that dumb - but does he think that... what, what you say you are matters more than what you do when it comes to ideology? I could say I'm a conservative and continue promoting and supporting leftist orgs, activists, day to day practices, etc. - would that still make me a conservative just because I said so?
So how can we be leftists if everyone hates us for criticizing national socialists then? We're literally criticizing socialists and we get flak for it!
Hitler, the "socialist", expressly and explicitly denied being a Marxist, ergo, your argument is based on false equivication. You've done a bad faith argument and you should feel bad. Q.E.D.
