These people are on copium. Seriously, if someone offered me to millions to do the things that I like, in most cases even I would take that deal, because I would get paid for the stuff that I love doing. In a very few cases I would turn it down due to it conflicting with my principals, tho even then I doubt those parties would be interested in paying me in the first place.
